Ali's Got Talent!
Ali Jane took part in her first elementary Talent Variety Show last week but she almost didn't make it! I think I mentioned in previous posts that there was a flu bug making its way through our kids. It actually wasn't too bad because it was totally gone in 24 hours. Since it had been over a week since the last boy got it (Z), I thought perhaps it had skipped Ali. Sadly, I was wrong. She came down with it at the end of school on a Thursday~ Missed her softball game~ Threw up (only once thankfully) and was completely wiped out! She was to perform her 'act' for the talent show the next day at the end of school for the student body so I told her to just rest and sleep and that Nana would bring her to school when she woke up and had some food on her tummy (thanks mom!).
