Congrats, Colleen!

Image
One of my favorite HUGS nurses (Colleen) retired. She and I have done HUGS meetings together for the last almost 19 years! I was glad that we had a last in-person meeting that we could attend together so I could show her THIS video that we made for her.  I also have recently been talking with a therapist who helped me see that I do, well, a lot. She had me write a list of all the things I do and when I saw it in writing, I cried. No wonder I feel so burned out. She told me to cross out 5 things on the list. I don't think I could ever say goodbye to HUGS completely but from now on I think I'll only host zoom meetings (in the comfort of my home with pajama pants and wine).

Grease Lightning!

We LOVE our musicals!! We were so excited that WLC was doing Grease! It was a pretty good show but what I really loved was seeing this little Dolly reunion! WLC didn't have as many kids taking part in fact they had to take kids from WLW and WLN for their shows. I loved that the girls wore their Dolly shirts! Our favorite musicals this year went: 1. Dolly (duh), 2. Mama Mia (WLW) 3. Grease (WLC) We can't wait for next year's shows!

Joe

Image
Things are getting real. I needed to send in a "young" Joe and an "old" Joe to prepare for senior year stuff and Nana helped me choose. I don't think I'm ready for this. Stay young, Joe!

St. Patrick's Day

Image
Thankfully those pesky leprechauns have realized that we're too tired to search for their gold or try to catch them so they did us a solid and just left treats! The weekend before many of Joe's friends came home and they joined us (kind of) for some fun at the Cosman's house. Of course they were away from us but we did have to try for an annual pyramid shot! I passed on that this year!

Oh Seany

Sean needed a head shot for his upcoming audition for "The Pirate Show." Let's just say this kid needs to start looking at the camera! We love us some Seany!

Oh Fender Bender

Image
Fender is a bit of an interesting dog... Not only do I take him to "therapy" weekly and give him meds he has moments of crazy which I have documented here. You never know what you're going to get when you rescue. I'm still glad he's ours.

Band Boys at the Festival

Image
More band but this time it was our high school boys! Z had his first band festival (you can see that HERE ) and Joe had his last band festival (you can see that HERE ). With Covid still alive and well we had people stay home and I recorded it. Joe did run into some of his besties who came home from college to listen which I thought was so cool!

Sean's Band Concert

Image
For years Sean has attended just about every concert his siblings played in! It was great to see them supporting him. It was fun because of course the boys recognized the songs! HERE is a video of his concert.
