Happy Day, Nana!

Image
Nana doesn't let us say the "B-Word" so we just wished her a happy day! We also did some work for her... (while of course enjoying some vino!)! And following in Covid tradition, I made Nana 'Happy Day' video HERE .

Memorial Day... A FULL day!!

Image
So I felt like a rock-star today! I had a HUGE PR in my virtual race this morning! When I checked my watch, I knew I was really moving even with the hills!! I actually broke 8 minute miles! I can die a happy woman! After, I decided to tackle some yard work. I've soooo neglected our house. I always feel better when I do a little before and after picture. There was no memorial day parade today but we remembered the fallen ( HERE ) and Joe and his friends played taps HERE . Ali is also going to start driving soon so we headed to WLN to do a little practice in the parking lot since I know she may go out right away. She did pretty well! And finally we ended at the lake! We tried to get Fender to swim but then he kind of did it on his own. Thankfully I got it on video HERE . The big question... Was Marty trying to Drown him or save him?

Life is hard

Image
As hard as life has been lately, I remind myself often that it's a lot harder for others. I am so lucky to have the best family to make hard days, easier. I think I have the best daughter EVER! (see below) Just something that made me giggle.

Seeing Grandma!!

Image
FINALLY!! It feels like forever since we saw Grandma! Covid makes things tricky but we ordered pizza, ate in the garage and hung out in the backyard. There weren't hugs but there was lots of love! It was SOOOO great to see her in person! I also ran a 5k (virtual style) today too!

Happy Mother's Day

Image
They are the BEST gift. It wasn't only Mother's Day but Marty's birthday too!! Jodie Gordon is the best! What a great gift!

Seeing PEOPLE!

Image
The weather was nice-ish for Steph's 40th Quarantine birthday so we sat in their driveway and enjoyed each other's company IN PERSON! Steph and Dan had some heaters because unlike Joe, some of us were cold and bundled. Nana wrapped FORTY ROLLS OF TOILET PAPER for Steph's birthday and it was hilarious and the perfect gift!! Nana got a a new phone that takes really nice pictures. I got these from her!

Learning to Walk

Image
I kind of remember how it took a while for Mary to learn to walk on a leash. I also definitely remember that Pele' was a great teacher for Cobi so we set Marty to work and were off for Fender's first leashed walk. It went better than I thought it would...   Of course about a house down he decided he wanted to lay down and just rest so we brought Marty in to teach him how to come home! So funny!
