Days with the Dorans

  Sean did a GREAT job in the play, "The Pirate Show." He was a bit of comic relief because he played the "Shark Bait' and had to woo another pirate! It was funny! They were both great and big crowd pleasers! The cool thing is, his counter-part also happens to be the sister of one of my remote kindergarteners! It was so great to see Lydia (my first time seeing her in real life!). I have no idea why I don't have a picture with Nana and Papa or the Drapals... maybe they missed it. I'm playing MAJOR catch up- but I do have clips of Seany's parts that you can see HERE .

Ali was excited to try out for the school play which was a great comedy based loosely on "The Game of Thrones" television show  (one of Jeff's and my favorites) but with princess characters. Ali was cast as Cinderella who was perhaps the evilest of all the princesses! She rocked it and I am so incredibly proud of her! The play was really funny and everyone who saw it really enjoyed it~ Danny said it may be his favorite!! I got Ali her costumes (perhaps future dresses for HS dances?) which was still way cheaper than any dance costume.  Another neat thing was that she was cast in the show with one of her best friends, Ellie, who was Elsa (or I should say the Princess who could not be named due to copyright infringement). I would love to see a high school do this show to see the thing in its entirety. Ali Doran- Hi! My name is Ali Doran. I am 14 years old and in 8th grade. I play the role of Cinderella. This is only my second show here at Smart. In Mary Poppins, I played Neleus, helped choreograph the dance numbers, and also played a featured chimney sweep.
