SEAN TURNS 3!

Image
It is hard to believe that Sean is already three!  I woke up this morning without him in my bed, though it wasn't long until he made his way in to cuddle with me which I didn't mind in the least.  I was sad I had to go to work, but my mom (who watches him on Tuesdays) had planned to take him to the farm.  It was a great idea except that Ali woke with a croup cough and threw up shortly after, so the plans for the farm had to be postponed. He made the best of the day and when I got home was happy to have gotten into the pantry and was busy making 'towers'. At three, Sean is quite a picky eater.  Unlike his big sibs, I can hardly ever get him to eat a veggie... fruits, yes!  Veggies, no! He prefers pizza, chicken and hot dogs.  He also likes "Chippies" and sucks down milk like it's going out of style.  Since Pizza is one of his favorites, we decided to make some for dinner. He ate a ton (as did everyone else) and it was a lot cheaper t...

Guess who's three???

It's hard to believe that three years ago today I was laying on an operating table and watching in a mirror as they pulled Zach from me. I still remember how shocked I was to announce, "It's a boy!" because I was CERTAIN we were having another girl. Probably because Jeff had told me that if we had another girl we would be DONE having babies... (because if that had happened there could be a possibility of having three Ali Jane's at home and I think that scared him a bit!) When I remember April 16, 2003 I remember falling in love all over again. I also remember turning on the TV and learning of the horrific tragedy at Virginia Tech and I think of those families too today and know that April 16 means something totally different to them than it does to me. We are blessed and always reminded to be thankful for each and every day- every moment. One moment that still makes me smile was when my dear friend and HUGS coordinator asked if she could use Zach for a ...

Ali Jane is 3!! (going on 17)

Image
It is hard to believe that Ali Jane is really only three. Although she is only a whopping 23 lbs, she is so 'grown up!' Some of the things that come out of her mouth, you would think that she was a 17 year old! The word "Actually" preceeds almost all of her thoughts now, and it is hard not to smile. We had a small family party for her on the 29th, only many of the 'family' part couldn't make it because they were sick. Grandma was Up-North, but she sent A.J. some dress up clothes complete with her favorite... MAKE-UP! Mom actually spent the hour and a half before the party started at the Dr. with Zach who had an ear infection and double eye infection. This is new to Mom and Dad because Jonasen and Ali Jane were never sick! Must be all the germs the big kids are bringing home to their brother. So the cousins couldn't make it, but the 'almost'cousins (Harts) did. Ali Jane enjoyed telling Griffin, Gavin and Joey that the toys they were touch...
