Days with the Dorans

I feel like I should preface this by saying that I am way behind in blogging because of school responsibilities, a horrible flu and well... living a very busy life~ Though I will probably have a blog a day for a while (now that I have a handle on things) so bear with me (or is it bare with me??). Sean's 2nd Birthday Party took place on THE only Saturday of the month where we had nothing going on which just happened to be the day before his actual birthday. We had a little gathering of family (some of which are not blood relatives but people we love like family). Sean's Godfather (Uncle Mike) and Auntie Joyce were able to even stop by for a few minutes between a wedding and reception they were attending. In that time, Uncle Mike taught Seany how to shoot a balloon into the air by pulling it by the tie and letting go (and my little sponge is still doing it with the balloons that have not yet been popped). Sean loved this and did it again... and again... and again... Gr...

I was surprised at how well Zach did at his party. He pretty much opened all of the presents by himself. (Despite his sister's best efforts to help him...) He also did a great job blowing out his birthday candle. (Which was a little easier since Joey promised NOT to blow out his sibling's candle this time.) We had been practicing and he can say that he's "two" when you ask him but he was pretty quiet at his party. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast playing outside. Zach was surrounded by people who love him and he had a great day! (In this picture he's hangin ' with his God-Father "Uncle" Ron.)
