CROSS CAMP!

So camp wasn't REALLY on... Coach wasn't allowed to go but since the boys knew the courses they run and parents could get the camping site, we put on our own XC camp with the Parkers and Cortevilles heading it up! I'm so thankful for them! Brad drove he and Joe. Jeff, the boys and I all went up too but we didn't stay in tents, we stayed in a hotel! It was fun getting to know the parents better. It kind of was a mini-vacation for us too! Below are some pictures from our adventures! We had a blast! Where we stayed The boys after the dune run Lots of hard courses but there was also some nice water! The boys also got out and had some fun! We were actually at the same golf course when they were there. It was the same one we frequent in TC. We enjoyed our adventures too. Since we don't go indoors to eat, we got subway and ate at a place with a much better view. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go. On a hike. First time eating at a restaurant!! It was exciting! XC Camp!

 Joey was home for all of a day and a half before he had to turn around and leave home for another camp- this one was a bit different though- He'd be in a tent, bringing quarters for showers, and running sand dunes! A friend offered Joe a spot in his tent but Joey wanted his own so we practiced setting up this tent. In that duffle I managed to get in toiletries, sleeping bag, air mattress, clothes, running gear, two towels, fan, light and portable charger for a phone, pillow and I'm sure something else- Let's just say, I can pack! It was kind of easy since all we had to do with the toiletries was refill the shampoo from last week's camp! Joey wanted to bring his guitar so I said, "Well- you better ask your coach!" He actually did and coach told him to bring it! He doesn't have a travel case for it so tried stuffing it in his electric guitar case- It worked... sort of. Joey left without even looking back or saying goodbye to me. His trip was ...
