Days with the Dorans

 This little tradition we have of meeting up at Olga's for a friendship celebration is so fun to me! Funny enough it was here that I met my good friend Matt (who already knew Dawn and Chrissy). It was hard to schedule this year because  it seemed we all had so much going on and going back to school so soon made it tough too! We usually go over the break and while we were a bit tired from New Year's, you're never too tired to catch up with good friends! We had fabulous food, yummy dessert and the best of company. I had a great run early in the morning too so ate without guilt (not that I would really feel bad without the run). I wore this cute new shirt that Jeff got me and realized (as soon as I hit the shower) that the zipper had done a number on my skin. I'm hoping this scar goes away (ugh).

Last week got to go out with some of my coworkers for our annual Caps Club lunch. I don't remember who coined that term but we are all Capricorns and Matt just turned 40 so it was extra special. Love these three!!

 Loved being able to get together with my Caps for a fun lunch and to surprise our friend, Matt! He was the Teacher of the Year for his school but since we had our own Teacher of the Year at our school to celebrate, we couldn't hang with him... So we made him a little surprise! I hope he liked it almost as much as we love him!

It's tradition!! I love my annual meet up with my Capricorn Friends. I don't remember when we started doing this, but I love that I was invited. I work with Chrissy and Dawn who were already great friends with Matt. Years ago they were getting together for birthdays, realized I was a Capricorn~ I got my invitation and I guess you'd say the rest is history! Dawn and Chrissy are two of my favorite friends from work and Matt has become one of my besties too. We're all looking for that million dollar idea to make us rich!  Until then, we'll keep teaching and getting together around our birthdays to eat Olgas, laugh and cry! Love you guys!!

I love my work people and it is tradition for my Capricorn friends and I to get together for a lunch at Olga's to celebrate! Hours go by so fast with these friends!  Three snackers baskets (we almost ate all three) and a shared brownie dessert later it was time to go but I'm glad we got some pictures.  Since this is an annual thing, I figured I should document because that's what I do!

 One of the reasons I love my job is because I work with some amazing people!  A few years ago, Chrissy, Dawn, Matt and I started going to lunch over break to celebrate our Capricorn birthdays and we've just started a new tradition (I hope)~ taking in a show! Chrissy was telling us all about the "Straight No Chaser" concert she went to last year.  They are an acapella group that everyone had heard of (except me).  Needless to say, I love ALL music (well... not big on country or rap but...) so I was IN!  We had a great time and the concert was awesome!! They tour every Christmas so I think we may have added a new tradition to our Decembers!  Prior to our date out we had some dinner and I had a much needed glass of wine.  I feel so blessed to have these three in my life.  Matt doesn't teach at our school but I sure wish he did! Life-long friends for sure!!  I'm looking forward to our birthday lunch soon!
