We Got Boo'd!

What fun it was when we were sitting in our family room and heard the doorbell ring.  Zach went to get the door and saw a plastic pumpkin. He brought it in with a lot of excitement and we found that we had gotten BOO'D!  In the pumpkin was a cute little poem along with instructions that it was now our turn to Boo someone else!  The kids each chose a treat from the pumpkin and we put the ghost picture (that Ali's holding) by our front door so others would know not to Boo us again. It was amazing that we were all home at the time since we spend most of our evenings on the run.

The next day, I went to the dollar store and got another container and some things to go in it (per the instruction on the paper) and we printed new instructions and ghosts from the BeenBooed.com (also per the instructions). Then the kids and I dressed in our black and went out in the night to Boo two of our neighbors!  I have to say the Booing experience was SO much fun.  The first house we went to, Joe went up to the porch, rang the doorbell and ran.  We then all watched from behind some bushes as our neighbor opened the door and found the pumpkin!  It was so much fun!  The second house we did (one of Sean's friends), Z left the treats, rang the doorbell and hid.  We waited and waited, but no one ever came (though they appeared to be home).  A few days later we noticed the sign in the door and knew they had gotten it.  Mission Accomplished!
